Bushtucker Trial

Posted on: April 7th 2017College Events

On the last day of term, staff challenged students to eat a fantastic selection of bush tucker to raise funds for young people in Namibia. They were cheered on by over 100 students who paid to watch the fun.

There was a fantastic and scrumptious variety of critters on the menu including, meal worms, queen leafcutter ants, crickets, locusts and silkworm pupae.

The bugs were washed down with specially prepared drinks: The Codfather, Knickerbocker Gory, The Jolly Green Giant, Cocacolant and more.

Thanks to all of the staff and students who took part and bravely crunched and chewed their way through the banquet.
