Luke Maw from the University of Oxford’s St. Edmund Hall visited De Lisle to speak to Year 10 students about their future post-16 choices as well as to Year 12 students about future university study and the kinds of supra-curricular activities they can be taking part in alongside their studies.

We were pleased to also be joined for the talks by Amy and Anna who, having completed their A levels at De Lisle in the summer, both secured places to study at Oxford.  Amy and Anna spoke to Year 10 students about their own A level choices and how these linked to their applications for medicine and PPE (philosophy, politics and economics); they also spent time with student ambassadors talking to current Year 13 students applying to the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge about the application and interview process.
