Breakfast & After School Clubs

We provide a reliable childcare solution in a relaxed environment where the children will have the opportunity to complete homework and reading tasks, or to socialise in a quiet and calm environment with friends, while enjoying a nutritious breakfast, or a healthy snack.

The Clubs run between the hours of 07:15 to school time and 15:20 to 17:00.  The children will be provided with a hot/cold breakfast and drink to start the day and a healthy snack and a drink in the afternoon session.

The Club is situated in the Sixth Form Café and a member of staff will be present.

The cost is:

  • £50 per week, for both sessions (5 days)
  • £12.50 per day for both sessions
  • £7.50 for the morning session
  • £5.00 for the afternoon session

Access to the Breakfast Club will be through the external doors in the Sixth Form Café.  There will be no access into school for other students until 08:25, when they will be able to purchase food and drinks from the main dining hall as normal.

Pupil Premium

There is no charge for students registered as receiving Pupil Premium.

It is anticipated that further ideas within the club will develop gradually, but as a starter we will:

  • provide reading materials; books, newspapers
  • play background music, to create a calm environment
  • make quiz sheets available, with winners announced at the end of each week
  • provide board games
  • offer the extra time to do homework.

Please book the places you require and make payment via Scopay.  Also, complete the attached registration form and return to Wendy Herbert at De Lisle College, at least one week before the termly sessions start. Notice of half a term must be given for any changes and cancellations.  One off sessions will only be allowed if there is space on the day and must be paid before the session.

Lateness

If parents/carers are late collecting students at 17:00 there will be a late charge of £5.00.

Behaviour Policy

Children who attend the clubs are expected to be responsible and show respectful behaviour in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy.  Failure to do so could result in your child being withdrawn from the club.
