Sixth Form Committee

After a rigorous recruitment process, I am pleased to announce the new Sixth Form Committee Leadership Team for 2020-21.

All the candidates showed that they possess superb qualities, ideas and initiative. I am confident that along the Prefects, they will work to help improve De Lisle College for every student. Each member of the Sixth Form Committee Leadership Team will also have their own dedicated area of responsibility and remit to focus on.

A message from the Head Boy and Head Girl

As your new Head Boy and Head Girl, we, along with the rest of the Sixth Form Leadership Team, are very much looking forward to being more student orientated this coming year.

We want to hear your opinions, taking ideas from the school as a whole, to make sure that you feel that you are getting the most out of your time here at De Lisle. To do this, we are looking to develop communications between ourselves and the younger students in the school by enabling all voices and ideas to be heard because your ideas are important to us.

However, for the time being, as we’re not actually in school, we are trying to overcome this so we can begin to make this change right now. We are looking to further the online ‘facilities’ to create a method for you to propose ideas that can still be taken forward. In relation to the Prefect sub-committees, we are working on changing them too, to ensure that the goals we set out to achieve at the start of the year are able to be met.

We look forward to meeting everyone (whenever this may be!) and hearing all the ideas that you wish to put forward to ensure De Lisle becomes a place where everyone feels their voices are heard.

Dan & Charley

We all wish the Sixth Form Committee every success in their roles and responsibilities.
