Careers Fair

During the afternoon of Tuesday 24 October, students from Year 10 and 12 attended an in-school careers fair.  This was an opportunity for students to speak directly to representatives from further and higher education providers, as well as professionals and business community volunteers.

Organisations represented included Loughborough College, the SMB Group (Stephenson, Melton and Brooksby Colleges), ASK Apprenticeships, DHL, Leicester and Leicestershire NHS Trust, the Royal Air Force, the Royal Navy, the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, Leicestershire Fire Service, the Peter Le Marchant Trust, Love4Life, Career Ready and a wide range of universities, including De Montfort University, University of Derby, Keele University, Lancaster University, University of Leicester, University of Lincoln, Loughborough University, University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent.

We are grateful to all who spent time with students throughout the afternoon, enabling them to discuss careers and future opportunities.  De Lisle College is keen to work with a wide range of employers and education providers to offer meaningful careers encounters for all students; enquiries are always welcome via careers@delisle.leics.sch.uk.
