It was great to see so many students from all year groups, competing in the 6 week Chess Tournament this year. There were many hard fought battles and best of all the great sportsmanship shown by all of the competitors.

The finals were held in the library with some skilful chess playing on display. All players received a praise point and the winners and runners-up in each year group received medallions and trophies.
