Criminal Law Talk

On Monday 20 November, Year 12 and 13 criminology students attended a talk on criminal law with former De Lisle student Naomi Winsor.  Naomi left De Lisle in 2011 and went on to complete a degree in English Literature before qualifying as a solicitor.  Now an accredited police station representative and solicitor practising in criminal defence, Naomi provided an insightful and interesting talk on both her career journey and the criminal justice system.  Sixth form criminology students were taken through a case, from arrest to trial, with opportunities to ask questions along the way.

We are very grateful to Naomi for her time, and for sharing her experience with students.  It is always great to hear from former students about their careers, and to give the opportunity for these experiences to be shared with current students.
