National Apprenticeships – DHL Presentation to Year 10

In celebration of National Apprenticeships Week, all Year 10 students heard from Laura Pegg (Learning & Development Manager) and Charlotte Hadley (Apprenticeship Development Specialist) from DHL.  Students heard about the range of apprenticeships available after Year 11 or in the future, such as higher and degree level opportunities.  The range of roles at DHL was discussed and other useful information was provided, such as how different levels of apprenticeships work and what a typical week would be like in the life of an apprentice.

As well as roles within DHL, students were given recommended websites to find more information about apprenticeships generally, including a wide range of vacancies from across different sectors.  The presentation was very informative and certainly raised students’ awareness of the apprenticeship route.  Many thanks go to both Laura and Charlotte from DHL for their presentation as part of National Apprenticeships Week.
