World Book Day 2025

World Book Day provides a fantastic opportunity every year to focus on reading for pleasure. Many of our college staff joined in to celebrate the day by dressing as characters from well known books including, A Christmas Carol, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Holes.

Students from all years took part in the Ultimate Harry Potter Quiz in a Mastermind style challenge in the library, with winners in both Year 7 and Year 12.

At the beginning of each lesson, staff and students read a short section from A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury throughout the day.
