The highlight of last week, and indeed one of the highlights of the school year, was our annual Prize Giving Evening at Loughborough Town Hall.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of students across all years. Students were commended for academic success in individual subjects, for contributions to extra-curricular music and drama, for representing the college sports teams and for service to the wider community.
Our guest speaker was the associate professor of marketing from De Montfort University, Dr David Gordon. Dr Gordon, originally from Loughborough himself, inspired students with stories from his hugely varied career, which has literally taken him all over the world. In his concluding remarks, he reminded students of the value of drawing on their faith in times of challenge.
Thank you to all parents and staff who made the evening such a joyful occasion.
