On Thursday 29 September, students from Year 10 and 11 attended a talk from University of Oxford’s St. Edmund Hall. Students heard about making the most of their GCSEs and were given advice on thinking ahead to post-16 and post-18 options, as well as having the chance to ask questions of Luke Maw, Student Recruitment Manager. We were pleased to be joined by students from Charnwood College for this talk.
Alongside this, Year 13 students applying for Early Entry courses (including Oxbridge and medicine courses) attended a workshop put on by Eve McMullen, Access & Outreach Coordinator. In addition to being given advice on finalising their applications, students spent time with current students, Verity, Fred, Harry, Claire, working through interview-preparation activities. We were pleased to be joined by students from Loughborough College for this workshop.
Many thanks to Luke, Eve, and the student ambassadors for providing this talk and workshop.
