A-Level Sociology

This course will take you on a fascinating journey where you will develop an understanding of the complex and rapidly changing world in which we all live. This course will cover topics such as: culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, beliefs in society, theory and methods, so that you develop a critical awareness of society today and a deeper understanding of how the social world shapes and controls us. It is a relevant and thought-provoking course, set to challenge and inspire you.

A level: Three exams – all 2 hours in length.

Minimum grade 5 in GCSE Sociology or grade 5 in English if not studied at GCSE

This A level would lead directly into subject related university courses and careers, and indirectly into a wide range of higher education courses and career choices.
