Economics looks at the theories and interrelationships between microeconomic and macroeconomic issues. The AQA A-level Economics specification covers different Economic topics as a social science, economic theories, understanding production and productivity, economies and dis-economies of scale, market structure, differing firm objectives between firms, aggregate supply and aggregate demand, fluctuations in economic activity and economic growth, employment, unemployment, inflation, price mechanisms, monetary and fiscal policy, how and why governments intervene in the economy, the theory of money, banking, financial markets and the role of the World Trade Organisation.
