A level Media is an exciting course, ideal for creative students with an interest in digital media. You will study a range of different forms of media in an academic and practical context. The course is designed to widen your intellectual horizons through the analysis of both global and historical media. You will develop your ability to think critically; analysing media from different perspectives.
You will learn practical media production skills across the different forms of media, producing a portfolio of media products. You will be able to inject your own ideas and style into your work. Using industry standard tools and software, you will learn to produce work to a brief, completing a project in a rigorous manner. This is ideal preparation for those looking to work in the industry.
The combination of theoretical study and practical work will inspire you to learn beyond the confines of the classroom, into higher education, the workplace and beyond.
