The Religious Studies course is made up of three strands: Philosophy of Religion; Religious Ethics and Christianity. These three strands work together to help you to establish a broad understanding of Philosophy and Ethics from a Christian perspective. These topics enable you to develop discursive, analytical and evaluative skills that are good, transferable academic skills. At a recent Theology conference attended by De Lisle students, Philosopher Peter Vardy said Theology A level is “…rigorous, academically relevant…” and that “the skills are sought after by employers.”
A level: Three, two hour exams, one for each strand of the course.
