Cyber Security Workshops
Cyber Protect Officers from Leicestershire Police visited the school to run an Escape Room-style workshop with groups of Year 10 and 12 Computer Science and Year 12 Criminology students. Working in teams, students worked through an engaging and interactive MET Police activity, led by the local officers who specialise in the investigation of cyber-crime.
The activity was a great team-building exercise, and gave students an insight into the subject of digital and cyber-crime, its investigation, and how to avoid falling victim. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions of the officers about their roles and work, and were given and practical suggestions to keep accounts secure.
Many thanks to Sergeant Nick Stenna and Cyber Protect Officer John Hammond for their time.
