Thank you to all who attended our annual Open Evening on Thursday 15 September. We had a wonderful evening meeting prospective students, parents and friends.

The evening gave an insight into life at De Lisle, from food tasting in the dinner hall, to incredible experiments and demonstrations in the science labs. The three Headteacher welcome talks were to full audiences in the Hall, with numerous students volunteering throughout the evening to lead tours, answer questions, and help in all our subject areas.

Our Head Boy, Dan, said the following:

“We hope the evening provided a helpful insight into our school community and answered any burning questions. Whether it was seeing our dedicated staff members, the students currently studying here at De Lisle, or the interesting and thought-provoking displays presented by our departments, I’m certain you left safe in the knowledge De Lisle provides an environment that facilitates growth, learning and the success of your child.

The buzz and enthusiasm felt around the school reassures us that there is an excellent new cohort of bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will contribute greatly to the future of De Lisle.”

Thank you to our staff, students and visitors for making the evening such an overwhelming success. We look forward to welcoming many of you to Year 7 next year!
