CPR & AED Training

We are very grateful to Alan White, ex cardiac nurse and lead trainer for The Joe Humphries Memorial Trust, who kindly agreed to come into De Lisle on Tuesday, and for the next three weeks, to offer our Year 13 students the chance to learn CPR skills.

He focused on cardiac arrest and underlying heart conditions like SADS and after a short talk he gave a practical ‘HANDS ON’ CPR session and how to use an AED.

De Lise has two defibrillators on site, one in the PE department and one in reception.
