Year 9 Sport Visit to Loughborough University

On Thursday 23 May, a group of Year 9 students with an interest in sport and PE  visited Loughborough University for a sport-themed campus visit day.

Students took part in workshops and talks, which included information on studying at university and how to participate in recreational and competitive sport during future higher education.  Students were able to tour the world-class facilities at the university, including visiting the university gyms, pitches and courts, athletics facilities and badminton and tennis centres.  Following this, students took part in an engaging practical sports workshop – led by students and staff from the university.

Students enjoyed visiting the university and we are grateful to Hannah from Loughborough University for arranging the event and providing a tour of the campus.
